GRE General Test

The GRE exam is a standardized test used for admission into graduate programs in the United States and other countries. It consists of three sections: analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning. The analytical writing section measures critical thinking and communication skills, while the verbal and quantitative reasoning sections evaluate problem-solving abilities and comprehension in these respective areas. The GRE also includes an unscored research section, which may be used for research purposes, and an unscored experimental section, which is used to test new questions for future exams. The test is scored on a scale of 130-170 for the verbal and quantitative sections, and 0-6 for the analytical writing section. The GRE is widely accepted by graduate schools and is designed to predict a student's potential for success in graduate-level coursework.
